  1. I agree that the hourly wages are too low to support a family. Any and all of us in the fast food industry could raise our staff’s wages, but I am not sure either they or the rest of the “fast food consumers” would be prepared to pay the new “menu board prices” that would have to be charged in order to meet the new wage demands. The consumers have grown so accustomed to “eating cheap”, that the backlash from the price increasses needed to meet these new wage demands would would be as “big and loud” as the demand for higher wages.
